FREE Yoga

Class Details
Every Friday – 7:30am-8:30am
This class is focused on Sun Salutations and the long tradition of doing 108 of them on New Years.

Instructor Bio
To better manage life issues, Su Wong began attending yoga classes at the gym in 2003.  During the vigorous routines, her teachers inspired her through yoga and made a profound impact on her life.  In addition to the physical benefits of yoga, their teachings opened Su’s eyes to see life’s challenges with a different perspective bringing spiritual cleansing and peace. In an attempt to deepen her practice, she sought out formal training.  Su hopes to inspire others to practice yoga not only to strengthen and add flexibility to the body but to the mind and spirit as well. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching since 2006.

Goal for the group:
1. Build strength, confidence, and stamina in each individual.
2. Have everyone perform 108 Sun Salutes on 1/1/11.
2. Encourage (moving) meditation, sense of peace and accomplishment in each participant.
